This black vase was the first painted piece I create for this collection. It reminded me of how much I enjoy painting as part of my process in ceramics. it then lead me on to creating more detailed pieces on porcaline. I have some more black clay pieces in the works as i love the contrast of the white and back and the simple line work. I wanted to create more pieces with women in them and this was the first step to that.
